Below are links to both civil marriage records for Catherine Tyrell. Both records indicate that her father was John and he was deceased by 1878. The subscription site Roots Ireland has her likely baptismal record. See below. Like you, I was unable to find a civil death record for Catherine. Either her death was not registered, she was living in Ireland but outside the Mullingar registration district or possibly she emigrated.

James Carr's father was Patt as shown on the marriage record. I was unable to locate a baptismal record for James.

Thank you for the information.  I did not have Catherine’s baptismal information, so that confirms year of birth!  I know she did not emigrate, although all her children went to America.  Her daughter Jane stayed in the area and married Patrick Russell.  I am guessing she died in the 1930s, but I have no proof.

Family lore spoke of Catherine spending a year in Montevideo, Uruguay.  My research show that many from the Midlands did emigrate to South America, but again can find no record of her going.
