Looking for the Parents of Michael Byrne

The civil record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1883/10942/5999225.pdf  shows a marriage date of June 21 1883. I think the couple delayed registering the marriage and adjusted the date to avoid a fine for late registration. The names of the fathers are Patrick Byrne (deceased) and Andrew Steele.

I was unable to locate the family in the 1901 census. Did they stay in Ireland?

The records for Mullingar go back to the 18th century. Kinnegad records go back to 1827.

I searched for a baptismal record for Andrew Steele with no success. I did not search for baptismal records for Bridget Duffy, Patrick Byrne and Bridget Kenny because the names are too common and you can't be sure if you have the right person.
