GRANGEMORE, LISLEE, CORK - families Foley, Sexton, McCarthy - early 1800s.

Grange More townland is in Abbeymahon civil parish, the associated Catholic Parish would have been Barryroe East aka Lislee or district of Abbeymahon. In the 1830s there were two Catholic chapels (as RC churches were often referred to) for the parish one at Lislevane and a second at Butlerstown townland, the Chapel in Lislevane would have been the one closest to Grange More townland  see attached map of the parish.

The Catholic parish of Timoleague is located to the north of Lislee/Barryroe East.
