I am interested in any information in Timothy Mckeigue, born in about 1785, and his son Timothy Mckeigue born in 1822. Ballinasloe are, maybe Kiltormer. Timothy 2 and his wife, Mary Gorman McKeigue, emigrated in about 1850 to Danvers, Massachusetts USA. Timothy 1822 had a brother Edward. Any information about McKEigue family will be much appreciated. Hi Tmarie-You are on the right track.The surnames Mckeigue & Gorman are both to be found in the Kiltormer,Ballinasloe area. Both families are still in the area today,as they were in the mid 1800's when Griffiths Valuation( a survey of all Irish landholders)was published. I know McKeigues & Gormans and will try and find out more.-Liam irwin.
