John Beatty (1819 ?-1892 Letterkenny) married Martha Doherty (1830 ?- 1900 - Letterkenny) in 1848 - father Hugh. They were Presbyterian. John has been listed as both a farmer and a weaver. Martha has also been identified as Matty Dogherty.
Martha Beatty (1852 Ramelton-1921 Philadelphia PA) - my great grandmother. She emigrated around 1870-1871 to Philadelphia, PA
John and Martha had 10 children - 2 were stillborn. Looking for information on both John and Martha - have not found their parents.
Also what may have happened to Martha's siblings.
Any living relatives in Donegal?
Would like to know more about my Irish ancestry.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The subscription site Roots Ireland has a few John Beatty baptismal records (1814, 1822) but none for the Ramelton Presbyterian church. I also looked for Martha Doherty records but only found two and they were in Church of Ireland parishes in other parts of Donegal.
Regarding Martha's siblings, I would search the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie I located the civil birth record for Isaac in 1864 (when civil registration of births started). Next to last record on the page https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1864/03616/2334628.pdf You can search for marriage records for the siblings of Martha.
I checked the 1901 census for Barrack townland and the only one I located was Isaac.

I am also looking for Beatty. My gggg grandparents David born 1782 and his wife Mary( ? Smith) born 1888 were married before 1815 years as their first son William A( probably Albert) Beatty was birn in 1915. They had twins Letitia and David in 1821. By 1724, they had their next son in Hastings County. Ontario. There was also a Kincaid family in the same area abd one of them jarred with my Beatty family. The Kincaid were supposedly from Donegal and that is why I wondered if the Beatty could be.
