Hello, I've been told that a book was published in 2000 about Tynagh and surrounding areas, with photos. Does anyone know if it's still possible to obtain a copy? Thanks

    Hi,

    In relation to your query, there were 14 issues printed 1968 to 1975 titled The Tynagh Miners. It was compiled by Norman Morgan and David Fitzgerald. Source: www.galwaylibrary.ie/Tynagh. Not available in Loughrea, except for Reference.

    If you Google the Tynagh Mines you will find under Reference D451-1970 The Tynagh Mines Dinner Dance at Loughrea 1970. 89 photos, compiled 2014
