Thank you so much Roger for your help in trying to locate Mary Mitchell's County Longford records  Mary was Roman Catholic and sorry I failed to mention it.  I learned something today there is a  Protestant Church of Ireland.  Hopefully I will have better luck trying to locate her father Michael Mitchell.who was also born in County Longford.  It would be so much easier if I knew and could include the parish they had lived in.  Please know your effort on my behalf is greatly appreciated
