I am planning a trip hopefully early next spring to come over to Wicklow and discover my Irish relatives who lived in Newtownmountkennedy then Bray before my great grandfather went to live in Huddersfield West Yorkshire, England and some of his children went to live in the USA to New York. I would be grateful for any assistance any one could offer.

Hi Miriam my great grandfather was called Thomas Gorman he was born 12/4/1870 in Newtown his father was Hugh mother Jane formerly Murphy,he married Mary Breslin 0n 30/10/1892 in Kilquade they had several children, Mary died in 1912 Thomas remarried on 24/11/1913 to a lady called Ellen Eager from Greystones they had some more children and then moved to Huddersfield West Yorkshire.Some of the children from his first marriage went to the USA to New York and the rest went to Huddersfield with him. I would love to know what year he left Ireland. I am planning a visit to Ireland next April staying in Delgany for a week and we plan to visit Newtownmount kennedy Kilquade Bray and Greystones to see where our ancestors came from,it would be great if we still had any living relatives over there.If you can offer any help in our planned trip i would be extremely grateful.
