Hello, It is possible that my 3th great grandfather, John Moran lived and died in Ballymanaugh, Ardagh, Mayo. He was married to Bridget Brogan and they had children born between 1838-1857 (about) Peter, John, James J, Bridget, Cormac, Patrick, Chatherine, Ellen, and Mary. John died 1870 or so - Any records on marriage, birth, or death (or gravestone) for this family would be appreciated.

Hi Victoria!
Welcome back to Ireland Reaching Out!
Unfortunately, the RC records for Ardagh parish start in 1866 so no church records are available for this family. I did find John in the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing.

I checked the 1901 census for Ballymanagh and there were no Moran households but I do see two Brogan households http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Mayo/Ardagh/Ballymanagh/
As you probably know, the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has images of death records from 1878-1968 but from 1864-1877 we only have index records. At some point images from 1864-1877 should be added. I do see a few index records for John Moran deaths in the Ballina registration district around 1870. There are also some Bridget Moran index records in the same time period.
