My wife's great great grandfather was William Kearney, born in Bruff in 1794. He married Sarah Leo who was born in 1806.
William had a brother named Michael born in 1790 who married Mary Hartigan, born in 1794. All emigrated to NY state in 1847.

A James Kearney was born in Bruff about 1802 and a brother John Kearney was born in Bruff in 1805 or 06 or a near year. Both went to America, but did not live near above Kearneys.
Are James and John siblings or cousins of William and Michael?
