Hi, I am hoping to find out more information about my Great-Great Grandmothers parents. My great- grandmothers name is Elizabeth Moran born 1837 Castletown Geoghegan West Meath. I was able to locate her church bapstism records Parish was Castletowngeoghan / Diocese- Meath.
Her parents are John Moran and Catherine (Carey) other than that I can not locate any other information on them and hoping to find out more about them.
Elizabeth immigrated to the US and I know so did Catherine- she lived with Elizabeth and her family in Massachusetts. I am not sure if they immigrated together or at different times (maybe when John passed away??) I was not able to pinpoint any immigration records for either of them.
Also, I couldnt find any other records of siblings for Elizabeth but am assuming she had some. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Miriam , Thank you so much! Elizabeth emigrated to the US and married in Ware, Massachusetts to a Maurice Roche who was also from Ireland but I have not able to pinpoint much for Maurice in Ireland as of yet. Elizabeth died in 1929, in Ware and her obiturary states that she came here as a child- also every census that has her and Maurice also has Elizabeths mother, Catherine listed in house hold as in-law and widow. Also please note that I can't find any census where Catherine, Elizabeth and Mary are listed under the same residence. Catherine Moran died 1884 and was also buried in Ware, Ma.
She married Maurice in 1862 and I did find on one census that said she came to US in 1850 but not sure how acurate that date is....
