    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Records for the Church of Ireland parish in Ballysumaghan start in 1844 for baptisms and 1846 for marriages. I did not find any Alexander Burrowes marriage records in the parish. I did find three baptismal records for John Burrows (1850) Ismena Burrows (1852) and Thomas Rulliege Burrows (1856). The father was Alex Burrows and the mother  Fanny. They lived in Drum which I assume is Drumee townland. The father appears to have died August 11, 1889 at age 79.

I also located a Johnston Burrows from Carrowcrin who died January 8, 1876 at age 79. I think this Johnston was listed in the Griffiths and maybe a brother to the Alexander who was a coroner? There was also another Johnston Burrows who died at age 21 at Carrowcrin September 30, 1871 and a John Burrows age 14 who died at Carrowcrin on October 29, 1871. Not sure how all are related but I thought I would share the info.
