Update from 2015 post - Quest Family
I am trying to locate my ggrandfather John Quest DOB April 1834 Cnty Westmeath. I do not know his parents name. He migrated to USA 1858 and lived in May, Lee, Illinois as shown on 1860 USCensus and future census reports..
Some how I think he links to Daniel Quest family of Westmeath. RC Meath parish records show only Daniel Quest’s in Milltown area in 1830’s. A Daniel Q who died in 1833 at Dalytown. Also a Daniel Q. & Ann Gannon are sponsors in 1836 baptism of John Lynne son Thomas Lynne & Ellen Gannon.
Other Quest Milltown marriages include: Peter Quest & Ann Gannon (1831), Catherine Quest & Thomas Lynne (1833), Patrick Q & Honora Finn (1835), Patrick Q. & EleaNora Lynch (1835), James Q, & Judith Cormack (1836), Elisa Q & John Leskanagh (Lestnange) (1836), Mary Q & Charles Hedeun (1842}, Edward Q. & Ann Scally (1850), John Q. & Ann Gilliigan (1864). Likely relatives in Milltown area.
If anyone with ties to any of these Milltown-Westmeath families I would appreciate hearing from you or suggested ideas to solve this mystery would be appreciated.

Hello George. I'm looking for records on Eliza Quest (Milltown, Westmeath) b.abt 1795. She is my x3GGM.
You have her on you marriage list update - and I have a small correction for you, her husband's surname. He is called John L'Estrange.
Kind regards to you.SHE-DNA

P.S I have them marrying in 1827, not 1936. Witnessses were Michael Nally and Margaret Palmer. No parents are named, nor addresses. This was on rootsireland.
