I was looking at the 1830 Tithe Appointment for Barretstown and found a Bridget Dalton. I think she is one of my direct line, possibly my gg-grandmother. She is listed as Bridget Dalton, there is no indication that she is a widow or if she is single. She has 3 titheables. There is also another 1830 Tithe appointment called Bannatton and she is listed there as well and it appears to have most of the same names plus a few additonal ones at the bottom. Perhaps one was an indexing error. Anyway I was wondering if anyone knew if single or married women (who weren't widows) held property.
