I think you best is possible look for Higgins. I their grave I mean the christina parents grave which also has their son william, John, and esther and grandson Christy Higgins. here's the link to the grave https://billiongraves.com/grave/John-Cosgrove/8650189 and maybe try the local papers which are Kildare nationalist and Leinster leader for help in finding them. or you could try the genealogy service in the county library in newbridge here is a link with there contact information. as this is as far as I can go for you. good luck

Hi,
Have some information for you.. Patrick Cosgrove's parents were John Cosgrove (1790) and Rose Farrell. He had a sister Ellen born in 1825. He married Margaret and he had a son James and a daughter Christina.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,

Hi,
If you would like more information on the Cosgroves please let me know. I have a whole family tree on them!
Paula
-
my relatives Cosgroves/Cosgraves all came from Balyna, Moyvalley, Co. Kildare. Maybe the two family trees tie together. Have never figured out how though and I must be 8 years or more researching this family. Can only get back to 1774 and then the trail goes cold. If we could work together to solve the mystery that would be brilliant. There is another Cosgrove family in Naas Thomas Cosgrove and Anne Murphy... food for thought!!!

Thomas Cosgrave and Anne Murphy were married in Naas. They had a son James born in 1821. James married Bridget McGarr in 1864.
They had 5 children. Ellen (born 1865), Thomas (born 1879), Patrick (born 1872), Bridget (born 1870) and Elizabeth (born 1868). Hope this helps.
