I'm searching for my great great grandmother, Margaret Boyle. Based on many DNA matches, I have reason to think she may have been born in North West Donegal. She was born in October, 1849. Her father was James Boyle, Sr., born around 1817. Her mother was Mary Duggan, born in March of 1822. The immigrated to the U. S., around 1850, and settled in Albany, N. Y. Mary Duggan was the daughter of Rebecca (maiden name unknown). Rebecca later married a man named Michael Doherty. Can you help me even to start with this information? Thanks, Pat Miller

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Unfortunately, there are very few RC parishes in Co. Donegal which have records starting pre-1850. I did a search on the subscription site Roots Ireland for any Boyle baptismal records where the mother's surname was Duggan and father James Boyle and the earliest record was in 1864 long after your family left.
Coul you add the emigration story of Margaret and her family to our XO Chronicles site and possibly someone might see a connection https://irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-database Thanks!
