Hello, I am trying to locate information about my 2nd great grandfather, Timothy Neville, who was born 6 July 1828, in Cork.  He went to America and settled his family in Stafford Springs, CT where he worked at a wool factory.  His parents might have been Daniel Nevill who married Nancy Belle on 9 Sept. 1827 at Inchigeelagh Parish Cork....I am not 100% certain these are his parents as I have encountered a few Timothy Neville's in my search.    In my great grandmother's wedding application from Connecticutt, it listed her father, Timothy, as being born in County Kerry, but that could be a mistake.  I wish I had further info to go on.....Thanks to anyone who might be able to shed some light.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

RC church data for Co. Cork is split. Parishes in the Diocese of Cork and Ross have their data on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie   That site also has all the data for RC parishes in Co. Kerry. The data for the RC parishes in the Diocese of Cloyne are on the subscription site Roots Ireland (and also on Ancestry and FindMyPast). I searched from 1825-1830 on both data bases and I located two Timothy Neville baptismal records. The first was the record in Inchigeelagh that you identified and there was also an 1829 Timothy Neville record in Killeagh parish (see below) on Roots Ireland. In addition, not all Cork and Kerry parishes would have data for 1825-1830 so possibly your Timothy was baptized in one of those parishes.

The record below does show the father was Timothy. However, at this point, you would need more info to confirm one of these records.
