One of my pioneer ancesters to Australia was on the first Irish convict ship to Australia. I have had a researcher from Louth do some searches for me but I do not think that the families relate to mine as family names do not align at all. ( althought people on Ancestry have been clicking on green leaves) Since then I have had paternal DNA by a descendant ( 3 Colla) done and had a link to Meath with someone of a different surname. I understand the borders can be very close between the two counties going back.He was convicted at Dundalk. I have a lot of information to help in initial research iincluding copy of original record of conviction, newspapers, and mention in books. Hope someone can help me as you will be the last "shot" to find correct parents and location of birth
