I am looking for any information anyone here might have regarding any marriage between a Smith/Smyth/Macgowan to an Jane McEniry who was born in 1831, I do not have a town land but this woman is my great great grandmother. I have found quite a few genetic matches from the Emly area. Trying to find my great great grandfather's name and townland. They emigrated to New York the time of which I do not know but most likely due to the famine as my 2nd great grandfather James Smith was born in New York in 1851.

    I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and located one lead in Co. Cavan but the name of the mother was Catherine not Jane.
