Looking for any Cleary famly members related to Timothy (Theady) Cleary and his wife, Ann Ryan Cleary. Timothy was born born aound 1799. Ann and their six children left Ireland aboard the ship, Olive Branch, and arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 9, 1849. Timothy did not accompany the family. I assume he died, though no record has been found his death. The Cleary family was from the area around Miltown Any assistnce will be greatly appreciated.

Hi LucyG:
Unfortunately, many of the records that might assist you do not begin very early. If you had dates of some of the children, it might be possible to try to narrow down where near Miltown Malbay the Cleary family might have come from.
Otherwise, I would recommend that you create an Ancestor Profile under the XOChronicles tab at the top of this page:
Please feel free to add further information to this thread and we will do our best to assist.
All the best,
Jane
