I have a record of a Maria Hollingsworth marrying a John Heather in Dublin in 1859.
The marriage record gives Maria's father as Nicholas Hollingsworth farmer.
They lived in Newry where John was a merchant.
When Maria died her will lists property in Ennescorthy.
If this is of any interetm I can provide more details.
Good luck,
Hilary Walker.

Hilary - thanks for your quick response - my sources show not the same Nicholas Hollingsworth (born 1816 - died in Ireland):
Nicholas Hollingsworth was born in 1796 in Tomduff, Killenagh Parish, Co Wexford. He died on 30 Jul 1872 in Stockbridge, Madison County, New York.
Nicholas married Lucinda Lucy Styles daughter of William Styles and Hettie Slye on 5 Jun 1821 in Enniscorthy, County Wexford. Lucinda was born about 1800 in Enniscorthy, Wexford, Ireland. She died before 1850 in Ireland.
One of their children:
Maria Martha Hollingsworth was born on 28 Oct 1831. She was christened on 18 Dec 1831 in Protestant Church, Rectory, Enniscorthy.
Maria married John Heather.

Thank you Ron.
You have solved a long lasting puzzle for me.
The Heathers are a branch of my family.
Maria and John Heather had the following children:-
William Styles Heather
John Edwin Heather
Frederick George Heather
Thomas Alexander Heather
Mary Styles Heather
Elizabeth Henry Heather
James Henry Heather
James Charles (or Cathcart) Heather.
Some family historians gave Maria's maden name as Styles?
I always wondered why she did not name one of her children Nicholas?
When Eliza Styles dies in Enniscorthy in 1872 John and Maria Heather were the Executors and Maria inherited property.
Was Maria left in Ireland when Nicholas left?
She was married in Dublin. Was she living with one of her brothers/uncles?
Cheers,
Hilary,
