Margaret Mullins was born in Co Galway in Nov 1845, of Edward Mullins and Mary X. Bryan Mullins, her brother, was born around 1847 in Co Galway. Mary later married Thomas Murrray, of Co Galway. They moved to England, near Manchester, where Mary gave birth to a daughter, Catherine Murray, in 1860.

A well informed source tells me that Margaret could be the daughter of Edward Mullins and Mary Glynn who had another daughter, Mary in 1847 in Feigh, Abbeyknockmoy. Anyone has information about Edward Mullins and Mary?

    Thanks for your message. I've had a look at the records for that area and unfortunately can't come up with anything further. I also checked with our local expert for the area who confirmed that he is your well-informed source! Hopefully someone with further information might see this post come up with something.
