I am looking for information on my great grandfather Joseph Byrne. These are the details I have:
Born 1859; journeyman/tailor; RC; details are according to the 1901 census for England and in this census he is registered as the head of the household; I do not know his place of birth; he died sometime between 1901 and 1911 censuses and again, I don't know when or where; he married Belinda 'Lendie' Mary McGuigan; no information about when or where but I believe it may have been around 1893 so any information would be very helpful; in 1911 census for Ireland, Belinda Byrne was registered as the head of the household;
I am also tryng to find out who his parents and grandparents were.
I am also trying to find out more information about his wife, my great grandmother. These are the details I have:
Belinda 'Lendie' Mary (née McGuigan): possibly born 1863 in Co. Mayo; died in Dublin but I do not know when; according to records from ancestry.com, it seems that her parents were Gregory McGuigan and Bridget McGuigan (née O'Hora or possibly O'Horo); her name appears as Belinda Mary McSwiggan; is this a variation of McGuigan? my aunt remembers her grandmother's name as McGuigan and her siblings, however, are listed as Winifred McGuigan, Julia McGuigan, Mary Jane McGuigan and Gregory McGuigan;
Any information about her parents and grandparents would also be really appreciated.
