Hi, I'm new to this site. I'm looking for any family that has a connection to my late grandmother Marie Fitzgerald. (1935_2005)Her father was Richard who married Annie Hancock. He died in 1942. My great grandfather was Daniel who married Mary Gavin. My Great grandfather was Patrick Fitzgerald who married Margaret Maher Fitzgerald. I'm hoping there is someone out there. I know very little really about my Fitzgerald roots, because my GGF died when my grandmother was 6 years old.

    Can you provide some approximate dates on the years of birth for your ancestors. Were all of these ancestors living in Ireland.?

    I looked in the 1911 census for Richard Fitzgerald in Co.Kildare and did not see a likely record (there was an 18 year old Richard whose parents were Patrick and Elizabeth). I did not find a civil death record in 1942 for Richard except for a record down in the Clonmel area of Tipperary who did not appear to be your grandfather.
