Hello I recently used Irish Origins to complete a study of my Y DNA. The study concluded that my Connor roots were in Western Kilkenny or Southeastern Laois. Most likely near Bootstown (Connor). In Kilkenny and Killermogh Civil Parish in Laois. The other surnames to which I match are Walsh, Ennis and Meally. My Connor ancestor was John Connor 4/26/1842 Killermogh Laois. I am hoping to find people from that area with those surnames that have had their DNA tested. It is my hope to confirm that my genealogical heritage is from this area. if you have or know anyone that has tested or is willing to test, please reply to this thread.
