I'm a descendant from Mulligans in Carlow. My ancestor Edward was transported to australia in 1828. I've had no success tracking his parents. I believe their names were William and Bridget but cannot be certain. Does anybody know anyone descendant from this couple?

The earliest Edward Mulligan baptismal record in Co. Carlow on the subscription site Roots Ireland was in 1825 which is too late for your ancestor. I also looked in the Tithe listings for William Mulligan but did not find a record.
