Hello,
Looking for any info and/or relatives of James Phillips, miller from Tuckmill, Baltinglas according to 1901 census. He was my GGGF and died in 1908, I'm unable to find any birth information for him. He married Julai Thorpe in Arles in 1860.
Many thanks :)

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The subscription site Roots Ireland has three James Phillips baptismal records in Co. Laois. The years were 1831, 1844 and 1848.I think the 1831 record below is likely him. It was in Arles parish and ages in the 1901 census were usually understated. Also, James Phillips and Julia Thorpe had a son Andrew in 1869 (named after grandfather). See below. Also, check the notes and it tells you when Andrew married and his wife's name.

Hello James,
I'm so sorry not to reply sooner, I've only received a notification today about your reply.
It's lovely to hear from you.
My great-grandmother was Catherine Phillips,1877-1955. She was James' daughter and had a twin, Julia.
I would happily share the info that I have and would love to hear about your side of the family.
