My ancestors lived in Toomevara around 1868 to 1878. Annie Costello Carroll and William Carroll. My G. Grandfather John Carroll was born 1872/73 and died in 1900 fighting in the South African War (Boar War). John Carroll had 2 sisters, Winifred Carroll and Mary Josephine Carroll.

Thank you for your help. Yes I think they are my G. Grandfathers family. I have the no. of my G. Grandfather's enlistment number, which was 3853 J. Carroll. Is there any way that I could check his home address connected to that number. Clonmel Barracks February 1891 is when he joined up.
