Three daughters of this couple, Johanna, Margaret and Mary, came to Melbourne Australia in the mid 19th century. All born in the mid 1830's
I would like to find the birthplace of the girls if possible
Are all the Tipperary records on findmypast, ancestry and familysearch or does rootsireland hold some others?
Thanks

Hi,
I attach records from www.rootsireland.ie of Marriage: John Fogarty to Catherine Connelly and baptisms of Lancelot 1833, Judith, 1834, Mary 1837, Margaret 1840, John 1842.
The parish address is "Loughmore". In Griffith's valuation it is shown as "Loughmore East and Loughmore West and is in the area of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
If those records are of your family, let me know and I can check for land records in the 1830's and 1840's.
You can access those records at Google "Catholic Records Ireland - www.nli.ie - Free Site (National Library of Ireland) First names may vary.
Regards,
McCoy

Thanks a lot for the reply
I have no information to confirm the records you suggested -
There were quite a number of Mary and Margaret Fogarty's and Fogartys in general, who came to Melbourne during the 185Os Though the BDM's of this time give quite a lot of information, you are lucky to get a townland usually a county only
The daughter I am particularly intereted in Johanna ,married Michael Lalor/Lawler , several Ancestry trees have death dates for the parents of Johanna,,so perhaps there were letters etc
