Hello,
I am looking at the possibility my family may have originated in Kilfinane on finding this parish record for Kilfinane showing this:
Baptism - Bridget Justice, daughter of George and Bridget Justice, 26th October 1837
This may link with info I already have:
Bridget Justice (Casey)
Born abt. 1795 (dates vary hugely on this)
Emigrated alone to New York, USA from Liverpool, England in 1853
Lived in New York until her death in 1881.
William (Possibly George William) Justice
Husband of Bridget, no other details known.
Thomas Justice
Born about 1845, Ireland
Emigrated alone to New York, USA from Liverpool, England in 1870.
Lived in New York until his death in 1920.
If any body has any connection or further information on the above, I'd be very grateful.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and found one other baptismal record for a siblings of Thomas. See below. I did not find a reord for Thomas. Baptismal records for Kilfinnane RC parish start in 1831 and marriages in 1832. I did not find the marriage record. Here is a link to the parish register https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0858 so you can search around 1845 for a record for Thomas.

Hi, I am not related, just help on this site.
There is a George Justice in Griffiths Valuation in 1852, this would have been before they left for the USA. Kilfinane may have been where Bridget Casey was from.

The Baptism ..................1837 of Bridget
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000634905#page/40/mode/1upThey would have sailed from Cork as this was the nearest Port. The ship would have left Liverpool and went to Dublin, Arklow, Wexford and Cork.
The ship only states where it leaves from.
Like Titanic, it called to France then Roches Point, Cork. It was too big to go up to the Harbour in Queenstown as it was then.
This link below may also help, records up to 1911 in the Census.
