I came across a reference on Ancestry to the Bible of William Acheson (1582-1656) that was recently in the possession of his Acheson descendants living in Loughgilly, Ireland. I am writing a genealogy of the Acheson family and would like to contact the Achesons to find out if this is an ancestor we share. Thanks! Jennie

It’s not our policy on Ireland Reaching Out to directly give out information on people alive today.
You could try the local phone book (postcode BT60). I can see 19 Achesons in that general area, though obviously a lot of people are no longer listed so there may be more.

I have my irish grandmother who was Mary Louisa Acheson. Do you include in your research as well the Acheson families who lived in South Tipperary and Co. Waterford?
