Searching for Ancestors in County Meath (Trim)

Hello Pamela, firstly records for RC in Trim parish only commencee in July 1829 so anything earlier in that parish is not available if it ever existed, there are earlier records in some Meath parishes, you can see Trim parish registers here https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0963 Only searchable by date, I could not locate a birth for Marcella Sherlock but oddly as Marcella is not the most usual of Irish names there was a marriage for a Marcella Sherlock in Kildalky, this is close enough to Trim, she married a Patrick Smith on 18th July 1834, witnesses were Mary Anne Sherlock and James Bourke, no other info. 

Just to see if there were Sherlock births in Trim (there are a good few across Meath mind) there is a James in Trim in 1832, mother Anne Brannen, father James, withnesses were Peter Shiels and Margaret Cowley. 

The 4 James Ryan  I see with a baptism record in Meath between 1820 and 1840 are born in 1827 F: Philip  Mother Bridet Malady (this may be a variant of Melody) parish Dunany; 1828 Father Mathew and mother is Catherine Reynolds parish Kildalky; 1829 Oct. F: James mother is Jane no surname, Castletown / Kilpatrick and the final one in 1840 is in Oldcastle which is a bit away from Trim and F is Timpthy and mother is Anne Murta (Murtagh).

Civil and religious parishes do not completely align but this site is good for civil parishes, also names may differ in some cases but helps locate where you are in relation to Trim. https://www.townlands.ie/ 

I did not look for the other two names as they predate the Trim records.
