Ann McCarthy c1818 Cork was in NSW c1845

Hi 

Ann (Anne) McCarthy born in Cork (Munster?) Ireland circa 1818. Father we believe is Dennis McCarthy. Mother very unsure I’ve seen a baptism with a Mary Sullivan (14 Jan 1819) & another distant relative believes the mother is Anne Shea.

There is a lot of conflicting information over a lot of different family trees, no surprise since Ann & McCarthy are common names.

The Ann McCarthy myself & other distant relatives are interested in is the one who had a baby with Thomas Cole/Coal circa 1845 in Goulburn NSW, Australia & then had about 9 children with Michael McGill between 1845 – 1855 then another child with John McDonald in 1861. All children born in NSW, Australia.

Unfortunately we have even less information about Michael McGill.

We don’t know when Ann arrived in Australia, if she was a convict, or came with parents etc etc.
