Hi, trying to complete my family tree following a DNA test, my mother's father was born in Newry, I think, he left Ireland where he married my gran in Scotland in 1938 at the age of 36. Both his mother and father are deceased according to the marriage certificate. His mother was born Rose Mccomiskey, later McDonnall, and then Kenny, father Patrick Kenny, is listed as a farmer.
I have searched Ancestry and the Census records from 1901 and 1911 with no success. Any information would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I looked thru civil birth records from 1900-1903 and found this record in Co. Wexford. Father is Patrick Kenny mother is Elizabeth McDonnald. Any chance this is the correcrt record?

     (4th record on page)         https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…

Also found this record in Co. Down in the 1911 census not far from Newry http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Down/Clonallan_Upper/B…;  This Patrick is 9 and and according to the form born in Co. Down.

You likely noticed but the townland in the marriage record (Ballydulaney) matches with the 1911 census record.
