Trying to find information regarding my grandparents family, especially relating to William O'Farrell, born 11. 12 1877 in Naas, Kildare and his marriage to Anne ? of whom i have no information.
Also looking for the other members of Williams family :- Patrick. born 1875. Anne born 1888. Mary born 1889. Michael born 1898.
it would appear they ended up in Wales, but no dates.

Do you have parents names for William? The only William Farrelll birth record in 1877 in the Naas registration district was in March. Also did not find a William O'Farrell marriage record to an Anne.

Thank you for your help, not sure about the DOB of William, just info i was given.
His parents i believe were Thomas 1845 and Anne Butler 1848. Grandparents were Patrick 1815 and Bridget Geoghahagan.
it is possible that they moved to Dublin before moving to Wales, William and Anne? may have married in Dublin.
Mant thanks.

Brian:
I looked on the subscription site Roots Ireland and the only related record I could locate in Naas was an 1875 baptismal record for a Patrick Farrell. The record was in the Naas RC parish and the parents were Thomas Farrell and Anne Butler. Patrick was born April 10 1875 and baptized on April 20th. Thomas and Anne were married February 9 1875 in Naas.
I switched to Dublin and found a December 11th civil birth record for William. See third record. He was born December 11 1876. https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
He was baptized December 12th at St Audoen RC church. This record can be found on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie under Church TAB. Civil records can be found on the same site under Civil Records TAB.
I also found a baptismal record for a Jacobus (James) Farrell born February 25 1879 and baptized February 28 1879 at St. Audoen. They were living on Hugh St instead of Back Lane. Also found a February 4 1881 baptismal record for a Jane Farrell (born February 3) at St. Audoen (living on High St.).
So they likely went to Wales 1881 or later.

Hello ,
I am not sure that this is of any value but I was talking to a friend the other day and we found that we both had O'farrell family members. My relatives were from Tipperary and Clare and his family were from Kildare. There was a William O'Farrell b 1792 who married a Marie. They move to Dublin and had 12 Children one being a William. They moved to England and then Australia. William and Marie are buried in the Melbourne General Cemetery Australia.
My family is Patrick O'farrell and Mary Silver. I think they were born in Clare but it could be Tipperary. They came out to Australia with their family in mid/late1850's. They are both buried at the Benalla Cemetery Victoria Australia.
Hope this helps you in your search. I am now trying to see if my friend's family and my family are related.
Kind regards Mairead
