My family, Breheny/ony, were in Derrynavoggy townland, 1830s - 1908.
I have traced all ancestors except:-
(a) Winifred Breheny b. 1846 to Patrick Breheny/ Winifred Gaffney. The Baptismal record states the mother's name is "Winifred", however "Winifred is also said to be the name of the Godmother and the Child. I believe the mother is "Dorothy".
and
b) Thomas Breheny b. 1865 to Patrick Breheny/Margaret Glynn. The Baptismal record is correct, however the Cvil Registration puts the surname as "Brahny".
Any help would be appreciated,
TuB

TuB:
I searched the civil records at the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and did not see a marriage or death record for either Winifred or Thomas. I searched up to 1911. It is possible that Winifred died before 1864 when civil registration started. They did not appear in the 1901 census. Likely both Winifred and Thomas emigrated.

Roger,
Thank you for your efforts.
I have discovered that Thomas Breheny, died in Malheur, Oregon, U.S.A. in 1927. He was suffering from Bright's disease.
He had emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1886, aged 21. He took U.S. citizenship, according to U.S.censuses. He was a labourer on a farm/sheep farm.

Hello,. Sorry to be a pain!! Brigid Breheny, born Derrynavoggy 1838 to Patrick Breheny & Dorothy Gaffney. She had 3 siblings. She married Peter Walsh in 1858, In Arigna Church. I can find no further information/records relating to Peter Walsh and Brigid(Breheny)Walsh. I have traced birth/marriage/children/death of her 3 siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TuB

TuB: I did not see any post-marriage Irish records either. I went on Ancestry.com and there was a Peter Walsh with wife Bridget in Baltimore possibly a lead. Have you considered DNA testing? Roger
