Michael O'Connell and Bridget Dorgan

Roots Ireland has a November 1 1855 Timothy O'Connell baptismal record in Shandrum with father Denis O'Connell and mother Mary Hartnett. Sponsors Richard O'Connell and Honora Hartnett. There is a also a Mary Hartnett baptismal record June 6 1852 same parents in Shandrum RC church sponsors John Hurley and Mary Connell.

Like you, I did not find a baptismal record for Michael or marriages for Denis and Mary or Cornelius and Eliza.

If you have not done so already, you may want to scan the Shandrum parish register to see if you can locate Michael's baptismal record which may have been missed in transcription by Roots Ireland. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0095

Would you be able to see if you can find anything about Richard O'Connell? My connection to these two families seems to be more ways than one. Cornelius and Eliza Dorgan are my 3x's great-grandparents but somehow I'm also related to descendants of Timothy and Margaret O'Connell, and to make matters more intriguing, the shared matches I have on Ancestry to Timothy and Margaret's descendants are my cousins who descend from Michael and Bridget O'Connell.

PS Can you see if you can find a marriage record for Bridget Dorgan and Michael O'Connell? I haven't been able to find one for them.

The only Richard O'Connell/Connell record I could find in Shandrum was:  Richard Connell baptized December 23 1838 father Denis Connell mother Margaret Lynch

Now that I'm a little more familiar with the https://registers.nli.ie site I'll check out some of the other parishes in that area to see if I can find my ancestors. One question I have, for now, is there any way to search by name, or do you have to go page by page?

Unfortunately, page by page. Many of the registers are in Latin (particularly in the first part of the 19th century), some are faint and/or illegible. Requires a lot of patience.
