Hi,
You might give the location of "Lackan Parish" in Co. Mayo. The only similar name is "Lacken" in North Mayo in the diocese of Killala. The records there are from 1852.

Hi there,
Found quite a few Labelle's in the census of 1901 and 1911 census, they are in the townlands of Doonadoba, Cressage and Lecarrowntemple in North Lackan Mayo. Here are the links to the census pages.

Hi Rosaleen,
Records for that part of Mayo are somewhat limited in the time period you are looking at. Parish records are here: https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0754 but they start in the 1850s. Here's a link to the townland you are interested in: https://www.townlands.ie/mayo/tirawley/kilcummin/lacken-north/creevagh/
Creevagh is actually in the old Roman Catholic Parish of Kilcummin, but also often included in Lacken. Here is a list of head of households in about 1854 for Kilcummin, and you can find some people who were living in Creevagh: https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/mayo/kilcummin.php
I looked in the tithe records, and found a few references for Pat Lavell, who is probably your relation listed in the side notes, here: http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/reels/tab//004587459/00… - the tithes were taken from 1815-1842, but the record I found is from about 1832. Unfortunately, the tithes for this area are a little confusing. They are listed in County Kerry (incorrectly) and the page I found is only the right side of the page, and it is a little hard to match it to the left side, which is a different document. You might have to search and browse here: http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/
Finally, here is a page for a Pat Maley in Creevagh, but listed under Owen Lackough, which I think is a subdistrict: http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/reels/tab//004587459/00… - my best guess is Pat Maley would be Bridget O'Malley's father.
Hopefully this is of some help.
