Archbishop Croke had several siblings , some who went to Australia. I am searching for information on David Croke who married Mary Kelly., possibly from Wexford .

Sheila, I'm afraid I am back again. Your request was delivered a while ago. You probably need to add greater information, if you have it. I have searched all six databases in Australia for David Croke and did not get a return. It appears that your Archbishop lived from 1824 - 1902 and was in New Zealand, not Australia. However, the NZ database does not return a marriage either, It would appear that the Archbishop was born in Co Cork. However, another idea has produced this result :
CROKE David Plummer Death ( mother Isabella PLUMMER Father William) born CORK KELLY, Mary
42 died 1878 Birth therefore around 1836. Place of death is not given. He had two children in the 1860s in an area noww known as PORT MELBOURNE
. However, he does not appear to have entered Victoria by ship. He does not appear to have married in Victoria either. More time needed to discover.
