McAllister, Brown and Lindsay

Links between Donaghadee and Wigtownshire are fairly common at that period because until the 1840s or thereabouts it was the main port for ferries between Ulster and Scotland (Portpatrick).

I see several McAllisters in Donaghadee on Ros Davies site:

Donaghadee Church of Ireland records start in 1771. Getting back earlier than that in Irish records will be challenging.
