Looking for any information about James Payne, wife Ellen, sons Charles and William, daughter Hannah, who may have lived in Mountmellick, Queen's County and Birr, Offaly, in the early 1800's. Charles was born abt. 1815; William, abt. 1820. No idea when Hannah was born. Sons emigrated to U.S. in 1838.

From what I've seen learned,James was born in 1776 and was a butcher in Parsonstown/Birr in 1823/1824. Wife Ellen was born 1780. They may have moved to Longford. Their daughter Hannah was born 1803; Charles 1820; William 1823 in Stonehouse.
Are there any parishes/offices/ persons I can write to in order to gather more information as to what became of James, Ellen and Hannah Payne? Is there someone working in that area who can help me?
