My family was Flynn of Curraghroche, Affane. Thomas Flynn married Bridget Ryan around 1825-30. Had several children. Bridget came to America with her children, as a widow, about 1850. They settled in Covington, Kentucky. They may have been boatbuilders in Ireland. Thanks! Deenie

Eugenie; The Flynn's of Abbeyside Dungarvan, County Waterford had a long tradition with the sea,
Some of them were ships Masters. but many of them went to sea.

Thank you! I'll look. They were boatbuilders from Curraghroche, Affane. Many of the family came to the US around 1850.
