I am looking for any ancestors who might still be in County Cork and might be related to my O'Keefes, O'Connells and Moores. I did not have much luck when I was in Watergrasshill in the fall of 2019. My Bridget O'Keefe married a Daniel O'Connell. Their daughter Bridget married a Philip Moore. They were all Catholic. All of them ended up in the U.S. in the State of Iowa. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kathy in California

Kathy:
When did Bridget O'Connell marry Philip Moore? Civil registration of Catholic marriages started in 1864. When I searched for a civil marriage record, I did not find their marriage.
The other problem is that I don't believe that marriages for Watergrasshill parish are available.
I did find a Philip Moore record in the 1852 Griffiths Valuation for Co. Cork
Philip Moore Trantstown townland Killaspugmullane civil parish
Killaspugmullane civil parish is seriviced by Watergrasshill RC parish. Very likely this is your ancestor.
Let me know if you have questions.

Bridget O'Connell were married in the US from what I have been able to find. They did not come to the US together. Thank you so much for the information. Kathy
