Jeremiah Sullivan 1775 narried Joanna O'Leary 1775.  There chrildren Jeremiah Sullivan 1800 wife margaret Shae Sullivan 1800. There chrildren were Catherine Sullivan 1825- 1911; Mary Sullivan 1832; Denis Sullivan 1832 ( took over the family farm when his father was older and the father lived with them on the farm) Jeremiah Sullivan 1871; John R. Sullivan 1875-1906; Michal Sullivan 1878; Patrick Sullivan 1881.  I do not know what happned to the rest of the family; Mary came to Ameria in 1847 with Patrick Leary  and his wife Catherine Sullivan O'Leary. I have R.C. church records of this marriage.  Joe O'Leary

    If you know the Parish some of these family members might have lived in then it would be worth checking Griffith's valuation for records of them in the 1850s --> http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=nameS…

    I also recommend you keep an eye on the Historic Graves website. This is a resource of digitised graveyards around the island of Ireland. The Beara peninsula, where your family appear to be from, has yet to be surveyed, but the database is always being added to so check back a couple of times per year. From the drop down bar on the home page you can either search by map of Ireland or click explore and select name to search by surname (the link is below). Zoom in on an area of interest, click a graveyard, scroll down and you can read the headstone inscriptions. Keep in mind too that only legible headstones have been added, so if you can't see a name of interest it does not necessarily mean they are not buried there. It's also good to cross check with other records where possible.

    Finally, I would recommend you get in contact with West Cork Historical Society. They may know local history experts or people with an interest in the history of local names. There websites are below:
