First off thanks to everyone who has helped me with my search of Mayo records to find my great-grandmother. Unfortuantely no luck yet.
Two questions:
In looking at the civil birth records sometimes there are no names for the baby. Do you know why or is it because the child died?
This a strange question. Do you know of instances of people's births after 1865 not being accounted in the civil records?
Perhaps that's what I'm facing.
