Hello, Brian!
I am searching for a MARY HALPIN, who was the wife of EDWARD McKUE. I have found a daughter named ANNE McKUE, baptized 1 December 1826, County Meath, Ireland. Could Mary Halpin be someone in your Halpin family?
My search is actually for their daughter ANNE McKUE/McCUE. I know that Anne's father was EDWARD McCUE. They immigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA and Anne married James Farrell. However, I found a Bridget McCue who is also the daughter of Edward McCue, but whose mother is MARGARET McDONALD. I cannot find anything connect Anne to Margaret being her mother.
I have found one other child of MARY HALPIN and EDWARD McCUE: Bernard McHugh, baptized 30 August 1828. Could this be Anne's brother?
A marriage of MARY HALPIN and EDWARD McHUGH took place in Lobinstown, County Meath on 25 January 1826.
Does any of this apply to the Halpins in your family? I'm hoping you can clear this up for me.
Thank you for your help.
