Hello there. Percival Walsh is a sort of half-ancester! Born 1889 Newry, Died 26 Oct 1914 Nord Pas de Calais. Married my grandmother Mabel Susannah Moore Jan 1912 Dover Kent. They had one daughter and no grandchildren. After he died, Mabel remarried Charles William Harris and they had 3 daughters including my mother. I think I have Percivals correct parents: John Augustus Walsh b 1863 d 12 Nov 1900 and Elizabeth Fergus b 1861 C0 Mayo. There may be 4 other siblings Herbert Patrick Walsh b 8 Dec 1890 Co Down, John Walsh b 10 Sept 1892 Co Down, Eileen Francis Walsh 19 May 1894 Belfast, Charles Walsh b 16 Jan 1897 Belfast. I not not completely confident these are correct. I have not found any issue from the siblings so seems the line has finished.
I feel quite poignant about Percy given that if he had not died, none of us children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren would be here.
Does anyone have these names in their trees?
Many Thanks
Maureen

Maureen,
Based on the information you have provided this looks to be Percival’s birth in 1889:
His father was a Customs Officer which probably explains the movement around Ireland. Here’s his death certificate:
The circumstances of his sad death were reported in the Belfast Morning News of 16.11.1900 (see below).
Children that I can find were:
Eva 25.7.1887 regd Newry
Percival 25.2.1889 Newry
Herbert 8.12.1890 Newry
John 10.9.1892 Belfast
Eileen 19.5.1894 Belfast
Charles 16.1.1897 Belfast
Eva appears to have married Abraham Phillips in 1910.
She died 23.8.1965 in Lisburn Co. Antrim. You can view the original certificate on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:
You will need to open an account and buy some credits. It costs £2.50 (sterling) to a view a certificate.
She appears to have had a number of children judging by several trees on Ancestry eg the Lee nee Johnson family. You might want to search Ancestry to see if there are trees for her siblings.
Couple in the 1911 census:
