  • Trish, Just a thought, are the Larkins Church of Ireland?
I drilled through the Parish books and there isn't any listed for Baptisms.
The what I noticed there are two Larkin males, John and a Joseph, they were both in Ballymullen Barracks.

  • Dear Trish, Margot has done trojan work. I can't really add much.

Here is a link to some info about the Kerry Militia records which are held in the UK https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/irl/KER/Military

    https://web.archive.org/web/20141129041018/http://www.royalmunsterfusiliers.org/h7depot.htm

    I don't have a sub for rootsireland.

If you are looking for UK bmds this site may be useful https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

It might be worthwhile to contact https://www.kerrylibrary.ie/local-history--archives.html

    Good luck with your search.
