I am looking for a birth record (and any other information) about Sarah (Seragh) Keany(lots of phonetic variations) who was supposedly born in County Louth around 1856. She supposedly died around 1890 in County Leitrim. Her marriage record in 1878 (which I have) gives her father's name as James. I can't find either a birth record or a death record (which should be available) for her. .

You won't find her baptismal record since she was born pre 1864 when civil registration started and her parish in Leitrim (Inishmagrath) does not have any records between 1839-1881. I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland for Co. Louth and there was no Sara Keany baptismal record with father James.

Thank you so much. I am trying to figure out where I got the birthplace for Sarah as County Louth. I usually put a jpg file of any source external to ancestry.com. In this case, I either didn't or I divined it (and I am not a psychic, so I do not ever rely on my divinations). I am subscribed to rootsireland.ie and have not been able to find anything beyond her marriage record there (in any county).
