I am looking to visit the location of my great grandparents wedding, February 1891. Their wedding record lists the location as "St Catherine's Chapel". I think the current St. Catherine's Meath is the correct location. Am I correct? My cousin and I would like to visit the church, are there any restrictions we should be aware of?

I think you have the correct church. Here is the website which has a good history of the parish https://www.meathstreetparish.ie/
Are you coming from within Ireland or from another country?

Roger, Thank you for your reply. We are coming from the US, arriving on September 28, 2021. We will be in Dublin Sept. 28 & 29, leaving on Sept. 30th. We are both fully vaccinated and wilingly "mask-compliant". Our visit is short, as my cousin is still working. We come back to Dublin on October 4 and fly home on October 5. We are both descendents of Ambrose Loughlin(sometimes O'Loughlin) and Elizabeth Byrne of the area around Tinahely in Wicklow. Shortly after their marriage, they emigrated to Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Part of our trip is seeing locations from their lives in Ireland and also the lives of my father's famiy in Killaloe County Clare. This is my second trip to Ieland, my cousin's first trip.

Have a great trip! You should have great weather. We like to keep track of all trips to Ireland by our members.
FYI I also live in the States (Maryland).

Roger, We had a lovely visit to Ireland and great weather too. We did get to the church, St. Catherine's on Meath Street. A lovely sanctuary and a meaningful visit. We also visited Cobh and the Heritage Center there. Cobh is where Ambrose and Elizabeth boarded the ship Nevada for their trip to USA and eventual settling in Philadelphia. We also visited Tinahely and found their townland of Knocknaboley. Such a beautiful area.
